Age when it being read to Yvette: 19 mths
Book review: I thought she will not like this book. I have tried reading books from Eric Carle but she doesn't seem to like it. Perhaps she dealt with this book in JGC. She loves poking her fingers into the book when I read till the part "On Monday, he ate through one apple" and this goes on and one. I think this is a good for teaching nutrition, counting, science (stages of a butterfly) and days of the week too.

It's a classic! Good for teaching science, yeah... how about a frog cycle storybook then? ;-)
